According to the Dallas Fire Department, two firefighters were released from a local hospital with minor injuries after an accident with two other vehicles.
The accident occurred at N. Jim Miller Rd and Interstate 30 Thursday.
Engine 32 was on its way to a call when the driver slowed for a red light then proceeded through the intersection. At that time, a black 2005 Chevy truck proceeded WB into the intersection with a green light, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. Engine 32 collided with the Chevy truck. After the impact, Engine 32 crossed the center median and struck a white 2008 Kia Optima, which was stopped at the SB red light. The collision pushed the Optima across the three SB lanes until the Optima came to rest between a wooden telephone pole and Engine 32.
No one was seriously hurt.
