DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Two Dallas DJ’s kicked off 93 days of kindness on Thursday by riding a stationary bicycle to raise money for Genesis Women’s Shelter.
Scotty K and Bret Mega with WBAP’s sister station “The New Hot 93.3” will ride the bikes for 93 hours straight.
“One of us will always be on the bike. The only way we can get off is if someone comes down, donates to Genesis Women’s Shelter and jumps on the bike for us,” said Mega.
Their goal is to raise at $2500 to be donated to the shelter.
“It’s nothing compared to the strength and the toughness of the women that go through what they go through and then come out of what they’ve gone through in the Genesis Women’s Shelter,” he said.
The pair will ride at Victory Plaza in Dallas until Monday where the “Cycle for Kindness” event is taking place.
