Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The State Fair of Texas has unveiled the free concert lineup that will take place on the Chevrolet Main Stage for the 2017 fair season. Country Music star, Maren Morris will kick off the concert series on opening night at 8:30pm. Morris was raised in Arlington and has performed with Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson. Globally recognized rap artist, Flo Rida and his pop protégé, Macy Kate continue opening weekend with a dual performance on Saturday, September 30th at 8:30pm. Tejano music phenomenon, La Mafia will close out opening weekend. Other acts include female trio, Wilson Phillips, the legendary Charlies Daniels Band and Christian pop Duo, For King & Country. Access to the concerts is free with admission to the fair. The fair opens on Friday, September 29th and runs through Sunday, October 22nd.
