Residents of several North Texas cities will vote in Municipal runoff elections Saturday.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. in each city or district holding a runoff. Dallas County Elections Administrator Toni Pippins-Poole reminds voters to bring identification.
“You have to have an approved i.d. but if you don’t have one of the seven approved forms of identifications there are some options that you have,” said Pippins-Poole. “You have to sign an affidavit saying you were unable to get one of the approved state identification’s.”
Registered voters who did not vote in May are still eligible to vote Saturday.
“They are very separate elections,” Poole said. “You did not have to vote in the May 6 election to vote in the June 10 election.”
Mayoral seats will be decided in Carrollton, Keller, and Farmers Branch. City council races are up for grabs in the cities of Dallas, McKinney, Arlington, Mansfield, Garland, Lewisville, and Fort Worth.
