DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas police are searching for a man they believe stabbed and killed a man and injured his ex-boyfriend at a popular Dallas apartment complex.
Investigators said on June 16, 2017 just before 5 a.m., officers responded to two separate calls from The Bend in the Village Apartments on Amesbury Drive near Lovers Lane.
When officers arrived, they found two victims, 48-year-old Jose Sanchez and an unidentified man, that were severely injured. Sanchez died from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
According to an arrest warrant, the unidentified victim told investigators that Jorge Alberto Garcia Pedrozo, his ex-boyfriend, is responsible for the attack. Witnesses told police they heard the sounds of glass breaking and a man screaming for help.
Witnesses also reported seeing a man walking through the complex with an unknown object in his hand.They said he got into a light-colored car and took off.
