DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas police arrested a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred in Deep Ellum near the Baylor University Medical Center DART station.
The assault had both residents and patrons of the popular restaurants and bars in the area on edge.
A woman called 911 and reported that she was sexually assaulted by a Hispanic man early Sunday morning.
Investigators honed in on 40-year-old Roy Guiterrez after multiple people identified him after police released DART security photographs to the public.
Guiterrez was arrested late Tuesday night at the DART West End Station in downtown Dallas.
He’s now in the Dallas County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault and a $100,000 bond.
