FRISCO, Texas (AP) – Dallas defensive end David Irving has been suspended the first four games of the season for violating the NFL’s policy against performance-enhancing drugs. The Cowboys now have at least two potential defensive starters suspended to start the season for the third straight year. The other is Randy Gregory. Irving can return Oct. 8 at home against Green Bay.
