DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF) – Lane and ramp closures may cause delays this weekend in Irving.
Construction is set to begin along Highway 183.
Westbound 183 from the split to MacArthur will be reduced to one lane.The westbound off-ramp to MacArthur Blvd. will be closed.
Message boards are in place to inform drivers of the changes.
The 28-mile construction project is expected to reduced traffic by expanding the lanes in Euless and in Dallas.
The traffic switch will conclude Monday.
