FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Frisco Independent School District teacher has been arrested for allegedly having a relationship with one of his students.
Frisco police said 35-year-old Travis Chupe has been charged with Improper Relationship between Teacher/Student and Indecency with a Child, both are second-degree felonies.
Chupe is an 8th grade teacher at Stanley Middle School.
Investigators said police were tipped off about the offense after the parents of the 14-year-old female victim, who was a student of Chupe’s, reported it to the Frisco Police Department.
