North Texas Schools Prepare to Accommodate Displaced Students

GRAPEVINE (WBAP/KLIF) – School districts in North Texas are already talking about how to accommodate students displaced by Hurricane Harvey.

Director of Communications Rick Hadley said Grapevine-Colleyville ISD administrators met Monday morning to prepare for a variety of student relocations due to the Hurricane.

“We want to do everything possible to accommodate as many students as we can and of course that will depend on the amount of demand and how many will show up in the Grapevine-Colleyville area,” according to Hadley.

He added that local relatives have already called the district, inquiring on how to enroll displaced students.
