(WBAP/KLIF) – Houston Texans star J.J. Watt is hoping to raise ten million dollars for the people suffering from Hurricane Harvey.
The defensive end has launched a fundraising effort and is giving credit to those helping instead of giving credit to himself.
Watt’s efforts have already paid off. He’s already raised over $7 million for the victims.
“It’s all these people donating, it’s all these volunteers, it’s all the firefighters and policemen, citizens out helping each other,” Watt said before returning to Houston. “I’m just a guy trying to organize it all and make sure we do whatever we can and use my platform as best I can to organize it.”
You can donate through Watt’s charity by visiting www.youcaring.com/jjwatt.
