DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Regional Chamber announced Thursday that it will bid to be the home of Amazon’s second North American headquarters.
“The Dallas Regional Chamber has communicated to Amazon our intent to respond to the Request For Proposal for Amazon HQ2, said Mike Rosa, Senior Vice President, Economic Development, Dallas Regional Chamber. “We are reviewing the RFP and look forward to showcasing for Amazon the many reasons why there is no better place than right here for Amazon’s HQ2.”
Amazon in a statement said it is expanding its North American operations with plans to invest more than $5 billion and add as many as 50,000 jobs at its new headquarters.
