(WBAP/KLIF) – The NFL is appealing a Federal Judge’s decision to block Dallas Cowboys Running Back Ezekiel Elliot’s six game suspension.
The league filed documents in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Monday to try and reverse the Sherman Judge’s ruling. The case will eventually go in front of a panel of Judges, but when that will happen isn’t known. It’s possible Elliot could play the entire season before any ruling is made.
The league suspended Elliot for allegedly violating its domestic violence policy. Elliot was never charged criminally.
