Members of a Mexican drug cartel face charges in Dallas.

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Federal authorities have announced the filing of drug charges against eight alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. The seven men and one woman are said to be part of a large methamphetamine trafficking operation that operates in the Dallas and DeSoto areas. The cartel allegedly set up meth labs in homes it bought in Dallas and DeSoto, then sold the drugs the labs produced through auto businesses. According to the indictment it moved more than $6 million worth of methamphetamine through north Texas in the last year. Three of the indicted men and the woman are in the country illegally. They are citizens of Mexico.
