Zeke wins another round against the NFL

DALLAS, TX (WBAP/KLIF News) – A North Texas judge has denied the NFL’s motion for a stay on the injunction in their case against Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. The ruling means Elliott can keep playing while he fights his suspension imposed by the league. In August the NFL gave the second year player an immediate 6 game suspension for violating the leagues domestic violence policy. Elliott appealed and the case is now making it’s way through the courts. A judge in Sherman granted the stay earlier this month keeping Elliott on the field.

It’s expected that the NFL will now appeal to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
