DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Catholic Diocese of Dallas is providing relief to people affected by the deadly Mexico City earthquake, locally and in Mexico.
Bishop Edward Burns is asking pastors to extend holy hours and hold prayer services for people struggling with the tragedy that left more than 200 people dead. Annette Taylor with the Diocese said fundraising efforts have already begun.
“We do have some parishes that are collecting items for people,” Taylor said.
The Dallas Diocese said it will help out in a number of ways as long as it is needed.
A link to donate the earthquake relief is posted on the diocese website.
