CARROLLTON (WBAP/KLIF News)- Carrollton Police say a homeowner shot a trespasser early this morning.
Police say the suspect entered the apartment in the 1700 block of Hebron Parkway through an unlocked door just before 5 a.m. when he was shot once in the chest.
Investigators say the 33-year-old suspect has had prior run-ins with the law and is listed in critical condition at Medical City Plano. The homeowner is cooperating and does appear to face any criminal charges.
