DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Dallas police have arrested a man they say forced a 16-year-old girl into prostitution and raped her.
21-year-old Timothy Harle is facing human trafficking charges along with compelling prostitution of a person under 18 and two counts of sexual assault of a child.
Harle, also known as Vito Lucci, met the girl in the West End where he convinced her to go with him to Rowlett to meet a friend. According to the Dallas Morning News, once they arrived in Rowlett Harley and the teen picked up a woman who worked for Harle as a prostitute. Together they posted an online ad listing the teen as available for sex.
The girl was sold into prostitution twice on July 15. The first customer was apparently dissatisfied, according to the arrest affidavit, and Harle allegedly made the girl bang her head into a motel wall as punishment.
Harle is also accused of taking $140 from the girl and of raping her twice the following day before releasing her after learning she was a runaway.
Harle is one of more than 40 people who have been arrested for forcing children into prostitution in Dallas this year.
