Downtown Dallas Veteran’s Day Parade to Honor Gulf War Veterans

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Veteran’s Day Parade kicks off Friday morning with events at Dallas City Hall.

The Parade Chairman is Retired Air Force Colonel Joe Cordina who says the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army will administer the Oath of Enlistment for over 150 men and women.

“This is the first time we’ve ever had the number one guy for the United States Army come to be our special guest at this particular parade,” said Col. Cordina. “This is a really big deal for us.”

The parade starts at Union Station and will go up Main street and then over to Dallas City Hall.
