Americans are signing up for Obamacare in record numbers

Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – According to the federal agency that runs the signup platform for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance program widely known as “Obamacare,” the pace of sign-ups during the first week of open enrollment was up 179% compared to last year. Enrollment started November 1, and runs through December 15. The Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services says more than 600,000 signed on in the first week that ended Saturday, and the pace has not slackened during this second week.
