Late Night Party Causes Floor Collapse at Denton Student Apartment

DENTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The floor of a third-level apartment gave way early Sunday morning in Denton during a crowded party. Cell phone video posted to social media show a packed roomful of people jumping up and down in unison a little before 2:00 Sunday morning when the floor gives way beneath them. Dozens of them tumbled into the apartment below, but there were no serious injuries, and no one had to be hospitalized. Engineers are checking the Ridge at North Texas apartment building to determine if it’s safe enough to allow residents to return to their homes.
