Toyota North America Saves Dallas Holiday Parade

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Holiday Parade has been saved by a corporate giant new to North Texas.

Toyota North America opened its headquarters in Plano earlier this year and has come forward with the money needed to throw this year’s parade in downtown Dallas. The parade was more than $300,000  short of what it needed when this week began. Toyota’s contribution with donations from other businesses and citizens saved the parade.

“Toyota team members and our families want to see the marching bands, the giant balloons, the beautiful floats, and the unique mobility a parade can bring as it moves through the streets of Downtown Dallas,” Toyota Executive Vice President, Corporate Resources, Chris Reynolds.

The exact dollar amount donated by Toyota wasn’t specified. The parade is scheduled for December 2.
