HURST (WBAP/KLIF) – Police are investigating after a one-year-old girl drowned in a bathtub Wednesday evening at an apartment in the 1700 block of Soto Grande Boulevard. According to a Hurst Police press release, the incident happened shortly after 6:00 PM when the parents stepped away from the bathtub after removing the victims 2-year-old sister when they were bathing together. Moments later, they came back to find the infant unresponsive. CPR was applied, but was ultimately unsuccessful, as she was pronounced dead at Harris HEB Hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
