DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A Judge has reduced the bond for a Richardson mother charged with endangering her adopted toddler who was found dead in a culvert.
After hearing from Sini Matthews’ attorney’s and state prosecutors, a Judge set Matthews bond at $100,000 and ordered her to house arrest and GPS monitoring. Her bond was initially set at $250,000 when she was arrested for allegedly leaving her adopted 3-year-old daughter, Sherin Matthews, home alone the night before she reportedly went missing. Police said in the hearing Monday that it’s believed Matthews wanted to take her biological daughter to India which poses a flight risk.
Matthews’ husband, Wesley Matthews, is jailed for Injury to a Child for his involvement in the girl’s death.
