Arlington, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A shoplifting suspect is in critical condition after being shot inside the Parks Mall in Arlington.
Arlington police say they were responding to a theft call yesterday around 4:20. They eventually found their suspect, identified as 21-year-old William Dodd, and kept an eye on him from both levels of the mall.
Dodd then ran from police, ended up on the escalator, then pulled a gun on the first floor officers.
An officer fired a shot at him — though later it was discovered that the suspect’s gun was a BB gun. He’s in critical condition — nobody else in the Mall was hurt
