(ARLINGTON)WBAP/KLIF- One of the largest cities in America without its own public transportation system is introducing its first ride sharing program.
By downloading the VIA app and paying a flat $3 fare, a van will come pick you up in the city of Arlington and take you to select destinations including Arlington Memorial Hospital, the TRE Centreport Station and the entertainment district.
The app is free with the service running Monday through Saturday as part of a one year pilot program the city is experimenting with.
