MESQUITE(WBAP/KLIF)- A 74-year-old Terrell man is behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting at least three children between 1991 and 1998.
Daniel Wayne Meshell is in the Dallas CountyJail on $900,000 bond for nine separate counts for sexual assault of a child. Mesquite Police Lt. Brian Parrish says that a woman came forward in late December and accused Meshell of sexually assaulting her when she was between the ages of 2 and 8 back in the 1990’s.
According to Lt. Parrish, there is the strong possibility that additional victims may come forward and parents are encourage to call police immediately if the suspect their child has had any inappropriate contact with Meshell in the past.
