Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Google is reportedly planning to build a new operations center and Dallas is on the short list of locations. According “Crains Chicago Business” blog, Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta are also on the list. Some insiders says the operations center could employ up to 5,000 workers. Google is based in Mountain View, California. The company could make a decision in a few weeks. Meantime, the DFW area is still waiting to find out if it will be a finalist for Amazon’s second headquarters.
