Laredo (WBAP/KLIF) – A 64 year old Mexican man wanted in Irving for child sexual abuse has been arrested trying to cross the border at Laredo. Francisco Lopez was on a commercial bus crossing over the Juárez-Lincoln International Bridge when he was arrested. He is now in the Webb County Jail, held on a Dallas County warrant for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.
That’s the second time in a week a Mexican national wanted for child abuse in Dallas County has been caught trying to get into the country. A similar suspect was apprehended January 4.
Border Patrol agents also caught a man last week who was trying to get back into the United States following his deportation to Mexico for causing a fatal motorcycle accident in Dallas in 2011.
