
ENNIS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Firefighters responded to the scene of an apparent explosion at the U.S. Polyco plant in Ennis on Friday evening. Authorities say a large boom was heard around 6:30 pm after a “pop-off valve” blew off an asphalt tank. No injuries or evacuations are reported at this time. Workers in that area made it out safely. Officials said there are no safety or environmental issues as a result. Firefighters allowed the fire to burn itself out.
