Funeral arrangements have been set for Watauga Mayor Hector Garcia who suddenly passed away on Friday.
Garcia served in various capacities in the city for almost three decades before being elected as Mayor in 2013. He was first elected to the city council in the 1980’s.
He was a former Air Force veteran and a long-time employee of General Dymanics.
Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m at Mount Olivet Funeral Home at 2301 North Sylvania Avenue in Fort Worth and Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.
