Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Fire-Rescue has made an arson arrest.
23-year old Tony Gilliland of Oklahoma is accused of setting multiple small fires at the Arpeggio Apartments in downtown Dallas early Wednesday.
Crews responded to an automatic fire alarm shortly after 3AM, and quickly were able to assess that someone had set several small fires on various floors of the building.
Over 100 residents were evacuated to the nearby ‘W’ Hotel for a brief time. They were able to return after the bomb squad was called to examine the contents of a small bag left on the third floor of the building was rendered safe.
No one was injured.
