DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A 17-year old in El Paso faces a charge of capital murder for killing her own child.
On February 9th, Erica Gomez gave birth to a baby girl at her home. According to investigators, she immediately killed the child, and left her in a storage shed. The newborn had stab wounds and cuts on her neck and body. Gomez was arrested on Friday after deputies went to the home for a welfare check.
