McKinney(WBAP/KLIF)- McKinney hopes new business opportunities will takeoff with the construction of a new terminal and hangar.
The city broke ground on the $16 million dollar project Friday. Deputy city manager Jose Madrigal says the new terminal will make a great first impression of McKinney.
“We want to be able to make sure that when everyone visits the city of McKinney they are greeted with a first class, professional environment that shows that we are open for business and that want economic development in our area.”
The new terminal will provide crew areas, office space and a new hangar for jets. Construction should be complete in summer of 2019.
