Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added 26 year old Billy Don Urango to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is now being offered for information leading to his capture. Urango is wanted for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender.
Urango has been wanted since June 2017 after he disappeared from his last known address in Dallas. He also has ties to the cities of Wichita Falls, Watauga, Bedford, and Ardmore, Oklahoma. Urango’s criminal history includes a 2010 conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child-sexual contact after an incident in Grayson County involving an 11-year-old boy.
Urango is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He has tattoos on his neck, chest, upper right arm, right forearm, right wrist, upper left arm and left leg.
