Salvation Army Cooling Stations Officially Launch to Provide Heat Relief

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – With triple-digit temperatures in the forecast, The Salvation Army is officially launched cooling stations at 13 of its centers Wednesday. The stations provide relief from the heat throughout the summer.

The Salvation Army says the cooling stations provide hydration and a cooling environment. The stations with the highest traffic are at The Salvation Army’s two shelters in Dallas and Fort Worth. These stations will be open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
