Measles Case Confirmed At Plano West Senior High

Plano (WBAP/KLIF)  Collin County health officials have confirmed a case of the measles at Plano West Senior High School.  Anyone who was at the school August 14th through the 16th could have been exposed to the virus.  People who may have been exposed should watch for symptoms even if they have been vaccinated for the disease.  The school district says it’s disinfected the affected areas and classrooms.  Extracurricular activities will continue as planned.  Symptoms of the measles include a runny nose, fever, rash, red eyes and a cough.
