FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Fort Worth’s Neighborhood Services received state funding to repair air conditioning for Tarrant County residents 65+, disabled or have children 5 and under. Fort Worth’s Neighborhood services Assistant Director Sonia Singleton said this funding allows them to repair HVAC systems during heat and cooling crisis. “Our summer has definitely met requirements for a crisis with triple digit temperatures,” she said. Singleton said crisis cooling emergency funds may help purchase up to two window units if ac units aren’t reparable.
