(Dallas) WBAP/KLIF) – Ahead of what is expected to be massive electrical power challenges due to Hurricane Florence, Oncor Energy crews are headed to the East coast to help out in the wake of the storm.
A convoy of dozens of Oncor trucks and over 200 employees rolled out from Oncor’s Benbrook Service Center around 5am today.
Jen Myers with Oncor says a best case scenario is that crews will be in place for a couple of days, but after looking at the latest computer models, she says it wasn’t looking good. She says local crews will stay in place in the hurricane zone for as long as it takes.
