Cruz-O’Rourke debate will be heard on WBAP this evening

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will stand in debate with his Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke this evening (Sep. 21) at SMU.

It’s the first of three scheduled debates ahead of the November election. Polls show a tight race between the incumbent Senator and the El Paso congressman. The topic of tonight’s debate will be domestic policy. It will be moderated by NBC 5 political reporter Julie Fine and Dallas Morning News political writer Gromer Jeffers. The Texas Tribune will carry the debate as will NBC 5/KXAS, the Dallas Morning News.
