US Marshals Service Announces 100 + Gang Member Arrests

DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) –   The U S Marshal’s Services says a North Texas joint force joining forces of federal and local law enforcement agencies has arrested 104 alleged gang members from North Texas streets.  The Marshal’s service says Operation Triple Beam has been launched 50 times nationwide since 2010, resulting in 8 thousand arrests.

Officials say the arrests involving the Operation Triple Beam Dallas effort took place in August and September of this year, and netted 30 firearms including assault rifles, 164 kilograms of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, vehicles and nearly $54,000 in cash.

Marshals Service says it partnered with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives, Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security Investigations – Immigration Customs Enforcement; Dallas Police Department, Arlington Police Department, Dallas County Sheriffs Office, Grand Prairie Police Department, Tarrant County Sheriffs Office and the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.
