Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A grand jury has indicted an alleged kingpin among Fort Worth pimps. 39 year old Tremont Blakemore, who also calls himself “Macknificent,” allegedly ran his criminal enterprise in an upscale north Fort Worth neighborhood. He is now charged not only with prostitution, but with racketeering, money laundering, tampering with evidence, and compelling prostitution by force and threat. According to the indictment he demanded women bring in $1,000 a night. They would then get $10.00 a day for food, if he was pleased with their efforts. Blakemore allegedly made more than $800,000 in the ten months leading up to his September arrest. He has been in the Tarrant County Jail since then.
