FRISCO – WBAP/KLIF – Frisco Police report a second arrest in the case of a man found shot to death in an apartment parking lot the day after Christmas. Frisco Officer Grant Cottingham says 25 year old Derek Carr of McKinney has been arrested and charged with tampering of evidence in the case. 23 year old Rasheed Kilpatrick of Dallas is under arrest and charged with the murder, for which bond of $500,000 has been set, in addition to another bond of $500,000 for violation of parole violations in his case involving aggravated armed robbery.
The victim is a former resident of Carrollton, identified as 22 year old Anthony Morehead. Morehead’s body was found in the parking lot of Republic House at Frisco Bridges Apartments. Police say he was not a resident of that apartment complex. Cottingham says the investigation continues.
