Corpus Christi (WBAP/KLIF) – A former Texas congressman who resigned under pressure last year because of sexual harassment allegations against him has now quit his $160,000 a year lobbyist position for the Calhoun Port Authority. The Port Authority announced former Republican representative Blake Farenthold’s resignation with a terse statement that he had left “to pursue other interests and opportunities.” The port’s board declined any further comment.
