North Central Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – It’s that time again! The North Central Texas Council of Governments is looking submissions for its annual ‘Doo the Right Thing’ calendar contest.
In an effort to encourage pet owners to pick up their dog’s ‘doo,’ they’re asking them to take the pledge to ‘#Doo the right t
hing,” then submit a photo.
Submissions are being accepted until June 30th.
An online vote will be held to determine who is selected for the 2020 calendar.
The contest is used to promote the importance of picking up your dog’s fecal matter as it is a health risk to other pets, people and wildlife and can create water quality issues.
