DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF- One person has been shot dead by Dallas Police in Southeast Dallas; on Great Trinity Forest Way. Spokesman Warren Mitchell indicates no officers were injured, and the victim was taken to Baylor University Medical Center for treatment. Officials say they were looking for a suspect who was believed to have injured another man at an apartment complex nearby, when they got word he was hiding behind a dumpster on Cranfill Drive. Officers say the suspect emerged opening fire, and several police officers returned fire, striking the suspect. It’s believed the suspect was declared dead after transport to Baylor University Medical Center. Police investigation is now underway.
