WBAP Morning News – California City Removes ‘Gender-Specific’ Language From Municipal Code

Berkeley, California officials have decided to remove language that they deem as “gender-specific” from their municipal code. This includes replacing “manhole cover” with “maintenance hole cover” and “manpower” with “human effort”.
