Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) _ There are rumblings that the Dallas-Fort Worth area could be in the running for a new global headquarters for Ohio-based paint giant Sherwin-Williams. The chosen location will also include a new research & development center for the Fortune 500 company.
Dallas Innovates reports, the overall goal is to consolidate the company’s multiple offices and R&D facilities worldwide to one location.
It’s a move would bring a thousands of high-tech jobs to the metroplex.
The search could also potentially include Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, GA according to the online publication.
Plans are in the early stages and a decision may not be announced until 2023.
