Central Market/H-E-B’s Mobile Kitchen in North Dallas to Feed Tornado Victims, First Responders

DALLAS  (WBAP/KLIF News) – As clean up and repair efforts continue in North Texas days after an EF-3 tornado ripped through parts of Dallas, a Texas-based grocery chain is doing its part to help those in need.

Central Market/H-E-B’s Mobile Kitchen arrived in Dallas Wednesday and will be ready to feed residents, first responders and construction workers for free this Thursday through Sunday.

The unit will be located at the Preston Royal Shopping Center parking lot at the corner of Preston Road and Royal Lane from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Crews will be able to serve up to 800 free meals each breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In addition to the meals, Central Market will provide complimentary cleaning supply kits to the first 500 homeowners starting Thursday, and will also hand out snacks, produce and water through Tuesday.

Breakfast hours: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Lunch hours: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Dinner hours: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
