DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- There’s a new mural honoring a Dallas Mavericks player painted in Deep Ellum, a community known for its eye-catching art.  Dallas Artist Preston Pannek created a homage to Mavericks star Luka Doncic…he calls it the ‘Wonderboy Mural’. “I wanted to turn him into what he is, the wonderboy…the guy who came here to save Dallas basketball, to bring it back,” said Panneck.

Pannek tells our media partner WFAA-TV that he and his fiancee came up the superhero-like depiction of Doncic in a bright green and blue uniform, on the wall of St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin. It’s located near Crowdus and Commerce.

On Monday Doncic was named the NBA Western Conference player of the week on the heels of 4 stellar games where he averaged nearly 40 points per game and had two triple-doubles.
